{"id":6071,"date":"2025-07-15T01:15:05","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T01:15:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ajmedicalsa.net\/?post_type=product&#038;p=6071"},"modified":"2026-03-19T19:38:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T19:38:06","slug":"ferrowell","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/ajmedicalsa.net\/en\/product\/ferrowell\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrowell"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>INDICATIONS:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>In conditions with increased requirements of iron along with 3 vitamins (vitamin C, B12, and folic acid) \u2014 e.g. poor diet or recovery from surgery.<\/li>\n<li>Whenever indicated during pregnancy or lactation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>CONTRAINDICATION:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredients or hereditary conditions, or hypervitaminosis.<\/li>\n<li>Consult your doctor before use with: injectable iron, cyclins (antibiotics), chloramphenicol, penicillamine, methyldopa, levodopa and carbidopa, antacids, thyroid hormones, bisphosphonates, zinc, quinolone antibiotics (e.g. ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin), cholestyramine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking any supplement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>PRECAUTIONS:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Inform your doctor\/pharmacist about your medical history, especially: metabolic disorders (e.g. hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis), gastrointestinal conditions (e.g. ulcers, colitis), vitamin B12 deficiency (pernicious anemia).<\/li>\n<li>Do not exceed the recommended intake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>INTERACTIONS:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>This product may affect absorption of other drugs (e.g., bisphosphonates, levodopa, penicillamine, quinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, thyroid medications).<\/li>\n<li>Separate doses appropriately. Consult your doctor\/pharmacist for a proper dosing schedule.<\/li>\n<li>May interfere with lab tests (e.g. blood in stools); inform your doctor and lab personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Usual adult dose: One capsule daily with or without food or as directed by physician.<\/li>\n<li>Duration: 3 to 6 months, as prescribed by your doctor.<\/li>\n<li>Swallow the capsule whole without chewing.<\/li>\n<li>Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>SIDE-EFFECTS:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Liposomal Encapsulating (LCE) iron shows absence of typical iron side effects like stomach pain, nausea, constipation, and stool discoloration.<\/li>\n<li>Generally better tolerated and more compliant among patients.<\/li>\n<li>In case of overdose, seek medical advice immediately.<\/li>\n<li>If any side effects occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>STORAGE CONDITION:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep out of reach of children.<\/li>\n<li>Store in a cool, dry place not exceeding 30\u00b0C, protected from light.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>PACKAGES:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Available in pharmacies as 30-capsule packs.<\/li>\n<li>Do not use if the blister seal is broken.<\/li>\n<li>Keep out of sight and reach of children.<\/li>\n<li>Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>This leaflet was last updated in December 2024.
