INDICATIONS:

• In conditions with increased requirements of iron along with 3 vitamins (vitamin C, B12, and folic acid) — e.g. poor diet or recovery from surgery.
• Whenever indicated during pregnancy or lactation.

CONTRAINDICATION:

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredients or hereditary conditions, or hypervitaminosis.
• Consult your doctor before use with: injectable iron, cyclins (antibiotics), chloramphenicol, penicillamine, methyldopa, levodopa and carbidopa, antacids, thyroid hormones, bisphosphonates, zinc, quinolone antibiotics (e.g. ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin), cholestyramine.

PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING:

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking any supplement.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Inform your doctor/pharmacist about your medical history, especially: metabolic disorders (e.g. hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis), gastrointestinal conditions (e.g. ulcers, colitis), vitamin B12 deficiency (pernicious anemia).
• Do not exceed the recommended intake.

INTERACTIONS:

• This product may affect absorption of other drugs (e.g., bisphosphonates, levodopa, penicillamine, quinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, thyroid medications).
• Separate doses appropriately. Consult your doctor/pharmacist for a proper dosing schedule.
• May interfere with lab tests (e.g. blood in stools); inform your doctor and lab personnel.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• Usual adult dose: One capsule daily with or without food or as directed by physician.
• Duration: 3 to 6 months, as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the capsule whole without chewing.
• Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

SIDE-EFFECTS:

• Liposomal Encapsulating (LCE) iron shows absence of typical iron side effects like stomach pain, nausea, constipation, and stool discoloration.
• Generally better tolerated and more compliant among patients.
• In case of overdose, seek medical advice immediately.
• If any side effects occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

STORAGE CONDITION:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place not exceeding 30°C, protected from light.

PACKAGES:

• Available in pharmacies as 30-capsule packs.
• Do not use if the blister seal is broken.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.
